Some of my personal interests include competing in Powerlifting and Figure Competitions. I am a member of the National Physique Committee (NPC) and have competed in numerous Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Events.

In September of '07 I proved a point that women can be strong, lift weights and still maintain a feminine and shapely appearance in a swimsuit when I entered and won a Harley Davidson Bikini Contest.

For the past two years I have been involved in powerlifting, which has helped to develop both my mental and physical strength. I have competed and hold NC State records in the Women's 148lb division, and I recently became the IPA National Champion in the 132lb. division at the November 17th, 2007 York Barbell IPA National Championships in York, Pennsylvania.

A personal goal of mine is to present an image to others of strength, femininity and integrity. I enjoy being competitive and pushing myself, and helping others reach their goals motivates me to keep making personal gains.

I was recently sponsored by Torch Nutrition & Supplement Line, Elite Fitness Systems and Metal Powerlifting Gear. I am so proud to be a representative of these companies!

I prepare for my powerlifting meets with my training partners Chris "Ox" Mason
               (www.oxsportz.com ),
Mike White and Chad Cline, and my boyfriend Matthew. Matt and I also train
at Gold's Gym in Greensboro, N.C.
My best competition lifts to date (as of March 15, 2008) are a 400lb Squat, a 265lb Bench Press, and a 400lb Deadlift in the 148lb class. My best lifts in the 132lb division are a 315lb Squat, a 215lb Bench Press, and a 350lb Deadlift.

My most recent meet was the March 15, 2008 APF Summer Heat III in Charleston, SC, where I won both the Women's 148lb class and Best Lifter Overall by Bodyweight Coefficient. My best lifts were a 400lb Squat, a 265lb Bench Press, and a 400lb Deadlift at 146lb Bodyweight.

Another of my recent meets was the IPA National Championships in York, Pennsylvania. Competing in the 132lb class was very different and a challenge for me, but it was rewarding and I am now the 132lb IPA National Champion!

Early last year I competed in the 148lb division in Raleigh, NC. This was the January 27th, 2007 APF NC State, where I placed first in my class. I was also named Best Female Lifter of the meet with a total of 992lbs. I now hold all NC State records in the 148lb division, and I outdid my personal best by 30lbs at this meet!

I also competed in the 2006 APF/AAPF Summer Heat II in Rock Hill, S.C. I placed 1st in the women's 148lb class and was also named the Female Best Lifter by bodyweight coefficient. I enjoy pushing myself and hope to make an impact in the powerlifting world.
